AMES, Iowa — Iron Mill News Service. A quick look around the hall shows Ron Paul Supporters Chanting and waving signs. The largest presence are Ron Paul supporters, out weighing other supporters in the hall. The results to be shared within moments of this posting. Ron Paul’s wife, Carol, was hospitalized today with an irregular heartbeat.
Mrs. Paul became ill early Saturday morning and was taken to a nearby hospital. Senator Paul was delayed arriving at the important Republican straw poll in Ames on Saturday , choosing instead to stay with his wife.n order to stay with his wife. Mrs. Paul could be released as early as Saturday evening according to hospital officials.
Another large contingent at the Hall is Senator Sam Brownback who’s Brownbackers have arrived in droves. Some reported as many as one hundred buses. Senator Brownback has been getting less then 8% of the vote in the best of the polls.
